Saint-Renan, in the heart of the Pays d’Iroise, welcomes visitors all year long. The town is appreciated for its  richness of its historical heritage, its listed houses and its history, its inner path  highlighting milestones of the history of the city “from the legend of Saint-Ronan to the memory of the seneschal”.

You can wander around its lakes or discover its famous market of local produce on Saturdays. This small town of 7,500 inhabitants will make you have real pleasant moments, and is recorded as the “100 most beautiful detours of Franc” “100 plus beaux détours de France”   “.

From about ten kms you will find the sea by taking the touristic route towards Porstall, a port  where Amoco Cadiz crashed in 1978, or towards Pointe St-Mathieu near the fishing port of Le Conquet. So you can easily spend the day on the Ouessant or Molène islands. The 3 abers of the area, the Aber Ildut, the Aber Benoit and the Aber Wrach are only a few kms away and will offer you an exotic stroll.

Finally, let’s not forget the city of Brest that is worth going to visit with its marina and its commercial port, its shops and its castle, unique vestige of before World War II times.
